Cookies notice
Last updated 24 June 2026
This notice explains how brulee uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on our websites and in the Service. It expands on the cookies section of our Privacy Policy, which it forms part of.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files a site can store in your browser. Local storage is a similar mechanism that lets a site remember information on your device. We use these technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.
2. How we use them
Strictly necessary
These are required for the Service to work. They keep you signed in, maintain your session, and help protect against fraud and abuse. The Service will not function properly without them, so they cannot be switched off from within the product.
Preferences
These remember choices you make so the experience is consistent — for example, your selected theme and display settings, which we store in your browser’s local storage. They are not used to track you.
Analytics
We use privacy-preserving analytics to understand how features are used and where we can improve. We strip personal information before it reaches our analytics tooling, and we do not record on-screen sessions.
3. What we do not use
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers, and we do not sell information about your browsing for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles about you.
4. Managing cookies and storage
You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before storing them. Most browsers also let you clear existing data. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Service — including signing in — from working.
- Adjust cookie and site-data settings in your browser’s privacy options.
- Clear stored site data to remove preferences saved on your device.
- Use private or incognito browsing to limit what is retained between sessions.
5. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and post the new version here.
